Will stupidity never end? So now Mitt Romney, governor of MA, has joined the brain dead to gain political power via the ‘brain dead' of the religious right wing. I'm surprised that he is even aware of Orwell! Of course the prediction of 1985 never took place simply because most of the unwashed masses may be poor but aren't that stupid!
Fortunately in this case, the rest of the people of Massachusetts have overridden his wishes and stem cell research continues unabated in that state. It remains for them to fund the research as has been done in California - the most advanced state in this union!
